Job Overview: We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator & Community Manager to be the voice of our clients on social media with a proven track record of cultivating highly engaged communities through reactive and proactive community engagement. This person will also assist social media strategists in content development, scheduling and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsive community Engagement: Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms to foster a positive and engaged community.
Proactive Community Engagement: Find ways to interject our clients’ brands into the social media conversation by proactively engaging with other platform accounts.
Content Moderation: Ensure that all content and interactions align with brand guidelines and community standards.
Audience Growth: Identify opportunities to grow followers and increase engagement through meaningful interactions and targeted outreach.
Platform Monitoring: Stay informed about platform updates, features, and best practices to ensure community management strategies are up-to-date.
Trend tracking: Alert Social Media Strategists to rising trends within brands’ target audience cohorts.
Surprise & Delight: Identify opportunities to gift brand products or services to highly engaged community members.
Reporting: Track community engagement metrics (e.g., inbound volumes, proactive impact and sentiment analysis) and assist Social Media Strategist in top level channel reporting.
Crisis Management: Address any negative feedback or crises in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.
Social Media Content Scheduling: Schedule and post content across platforms according to approved social calendars.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing social media communities, either professionally or personally.
Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Passion for social media trends and online communities.
Experience with social media management tools (Sprout Social) is a plus.
